Sexually transmitted diseases are infections caused by viruses, bacteria and fungi, which are transmitted through direct or indirect sexual contact.

  • Gonorrhea
  • Syphilis
  • Chlamydia
  • Genital herpes
  • HIV
  • Hepatitis B and C
  • Trichomonas
  • Pubic lice

 

Sexually transmitted diseases can sometimes lead to clinically significant problems and should be diagnosed early and treated properly.
